Hethidae，暂译为赫虫科，是一类寄生在马陆体内的线虫。这类线虫的雌虫极有辨识度，它们,体表有夸张的角质装饰，头部还有特殊的“盾”状结构。

奇怪的是，赫虫科的雄虫就特别朴素：

另一类寄生在马陆体内的线虫Golovatchinema sp.，它的成体平平无奇，但是幼体的嘴长这样：

不只是赫虫科，很多线虫的嘴都非常奇怪。
比如在土壤里吃细菌的丽突属线虫Acrobeles，嘴是开花的：

矛线科 Dorylaimidae 线虫的嘴里有一根针头，用来刺穿植物的细胞壁吸食细胞液。

有些线虫捕食其他线虫和小动物。这是海生的Halichoanolaimus属捕食性线虫的嘴，里面密密麻麻的都是牙齿：
